Wow what a day it has been, the topic on a lot of peoples minds has been the controversy of numbers, can you own them? well if you happen to control the movie industry then feel free to sure think you can.

What is damn important about this number?
It is the HD-DVD Processing Key that has been used for most movies released, Combined with some software it will enable you to decrypt and watch HD-DVD movies in Linux.
You can guarantee that this will be stopped, but like most things they take time.
Where does digg come into this?
Well my friends the original article was featured on a few blogs and forums across the internet, some still exist.....others are not that lucky due to server load, cease and desist letters etc.
Someone dug a few of the articles.....
Digg was contacted and requested to remove the news articles. This pissed off a fuckload of people, and oh did they show their anger.
With hundreds of comments and new digg articles being created every second digg came to a halt, The people had spoken. Kevin Rose made a very public response to what was happening, digg has almost returned to normal.
